Following opposition from residents and other members of the public, organisations and West Bletchley Council, the new owners have withdrawn their change of use application. If they had not withdrawn, then the application would have been refused by MK Council as follows:
“The application cannot be supported as the principle of development to have a restaurant outside the Town Centre cannot be justified in accordance with policy ER10. The proposal also does not provide sufficient parking spaces in accordance with policy CT10.”
Since work on the site has already started, BPARA expects that the owners will resubmit a better prepared application fairly soon.
