Minutes of the Annual General Meeting
Held in the Chauffeurs’ Hut, Bletchley Park
At 7.00pm on Tuesday 19 April 2016
Present: Angie Ravn-Aagaard, Hon. Chairman; Derek Storey, Hon. Treasurer; Kathy Wilson, Hon. Secretary and 28 other members of the Association.
The meeting began at 7.05pm and the Chairman welcomed everyone, especially new members.
Iain Standen, the Chief Executive Officer of the Bletchley Park Trust, then addressed the meeting. He updated members on the progress being made with the on-going restoration of Bletchley Park and the development of the museum. He mentioned that there had been a 47% increase in visitor numbers in 2015 – some 275,000 during the year. He also spoke of the Master Plan for the next 8-10 years and described the changes envisaged – funding permitting.
Following Iain’s talk, the Business Meeting commenced.

The Minutes of the meeting held on 14 April, 2015 were read and approved.
A Question was asked from the floor regarding the meaning of the S106 monies due
from the Home Farm Development on Sherwood Drive. (The sum collected by MK Council for additional public services – doctors’ surgeries, schools etc.)

- Hon. Treasurer’s Report
Accounts
The Hon, Treasurer, Derek Storey, presented the accounts for the year ending 31 March 2016. He reported that there were 221 paid up members to date. Total income for the year was £461.56 and total expenditure, £320.00, giving a surplus of £141.56. The accumulated fund now stands at £834.73. Subscription remains at £2.00 per household.

Proposal to adopt the Reports made by Dr. Peter Jarvis and seconded by Sue Jarvis
- Election of Officers
i) All officers having agreed to stand again,
Dr. Peter Jarvis proposed their re-election for one more year. Seconded: Debbie Castell
- ii) The Chairman thanked committee members and representatives for their help during the year. Special thanks were given to Pete Ager who was stepping down from his long-standing role, contributing to the production of BPARA’s quarterly Newsletter. The Chairman also would be presenting him with a card and small gift from the Association.
iii) Following a call for volunteers to fill Area Representative roles, Peter Jarvis agreed to take charge of numbers 1 – 50 Church Green Road and Carol Caesar to represent Bletchley Park Estate.

There being no other business, the meeting closed at approximately 8.15pm
The business meeting was followed by refreshments provided by the Bletchley Park caterers.
Following the break, Paul Hammond –Area Manager, MK Land & Tariff in the Infrastructure Coordination and Delivery Service at Milton Keynes Council, gave an illustrated talk about the work of the ‘Fixing The Links’ Project undertaken by MK Council to improve the environment between Bletchley Rail Station and the town centre – particularly for pedestrians and cyclists.
