Ringway will be carrying out some remedial works to the road surface on Queensway on Thursday 29 October. The works will include removing and replacing sections of the carriageway and reinstating the road markings.
To allow the works to be completed safely, Queensway will be closed for one day between Albert Street and Lennox Road. This will also affect access from Oxford Street, Bedford Street, Westfield Road and Cambridge Street, as well as access to Elizabeth Square Car Park.
The City Council appreciates this will cause some short-term disruption and inconvenience. However, the works are necessary to address sections of the recently completed carriageway.
