The BPARA Annual meeting will take place in the new Auditorium at Bletchley Park which was the location for the Government’s AI Safety Summit last November. The meeting will commence at 6.45 with refreshments and end around 8.30.
The speakers will include either John Cove, Bletchley & Fenny Stratford Town Deal Board Chair or Darrel Canvin, (Town Deal Programme Manager). John has taken part in our meetings for the last 2 years but Darrel will attend if John, who is MK Dons Sport and Education Trust Chair, is otherwise engaged due to MK Dons being in the Football League 2 play-offs! Iain Standen, Bletchley Park CEO, will provide his usual update.
The meeting takes place just before 2 major public consultations:
- Transport Hub – the removal of the Brunel Roundabout, the proposed downgrading of Saxon Street to a single carriage way in each direction from this roundabout to that with Princes Way, moving the bus station, and implementing left in/left out access to Duncombe Street.
- Public Realm Improvement – in Queensway & Aylesbury Street in Fenny Stratford, including the results/proposals from the Central Bletchley Parking Study.
We should also have news about the future development of the former Police and Fire Station sites, and other activity in our area.
Further information will follow nearer the time of the meeting – all BPARA members are invited, and also non-members, if agreed in advance with BPARA .
