The Milton City Council Plan – Delivery Plan (#16), published in June 2024, identified the need to create a 2050 Vision for Bletchley and Fenny Stratford which is informed and endorsed by its community and its stakeholders.
Objectives
Building on the Town Deal works, the purpose of the Guide is to outline the long-term visions and aspirations, as expressed by you and other stakeholders, for your town up to 2050.
Engagement
MKCC has held four workshops made up of different stakeholder groups including the Town Deal Board, The Town Deal Advisory Group, councillors, ward councillors, students, faith groups, community groups, city council officers and East West Rail representatives. They have spoken directly with the community, holding several pop-up events – at the library, the New Year, New You event, and the Town Deal drop-in sessions.
On Tuesday 25 February, 2 – 7.30pm, a drop-in session will be held at the library for you to share your thoughts on the future of your town. You can join the conversation and can also complete an online questionnaire: B&FS 2050 Vision Guide. The questionnaire is available to complete from 10 February to 10 March 2025.
The Vision Guide will be published and available to read in Spring.
