The new layout and improvements to Queensway and Aylesbury Street in Fenny Stratford are being finalised, and work will start in Aylesbury Street in June. Work on Queensway will start later this Summer. Work on the changes to Saxon Street, including the implementation of a single carriageway between the Brunel and Princes Way roundabouts, is still in the planning stage and work will not start until early next year.
The Town Deal Team is putting together an extensive communications programme to keep you informed with what will happen and when. To date, this includes:
- There will be monthly sessions on Wednesdays between 4pm and 7pm at Bletchley Leisure Centre. These are in addition to the existing monthly Drop-in sessions on:
- Mondays between 2pm and 4pm at the Bletchley & Fenny Stratford Council offices in Sycamore House and the West Bletchley Council offices in Whaddon Way/Frank Moran Centre
- Monthly sessions on Tuesdays between 5pm and 7pm at Bletchley Library,
- A Drop-in session will also be held at the Fenny Stratford Community Centre in George Street between 3pm and 7pm on 28 May.
- The team will be at MK Arts Centre’s ‘We live here’ project between 11am and 4pm on Saturday 24 May at Leon Recreation Ground. They will have plans and visuals so you can see what the Town Centre will look like.
