2025 is the 19th year that the MK area has celebrated Heritage Open Days. In 2006 there were 15 events across MK – this year there will be 250 events to showcase MK’s distinctive and world class heritage, arts and culture. Living Archive MK manages the Open Days on behalf of MKCC and Heritage MK, with support from MK Heritage Association www.livingarchive.org.uk.
From the 12th to the 21st of September, there are 10 DAYS of events including activities for children and families – exhibitions, workshops, walks and tours, open days, craft events and performances – all are free. For details, please see HODs Brochure 2025
Events in Bletchley include St Mary’s Church, The National Museum of Computing, Bletchley Park, plus the Station to Station Guided Walk (the Digital Trail).
A Trip Down Memory Lane – as part of the upcoming public realm improvements, the Bletchley & Fenny Stratford Town Deal Team & Living Archive will be at the Brunel Centre on Saturday, 20 September between 2pm and 4pm. Here you can view an exhibition of archive photos of Queensway and other areas of Bletchley.
They are looking to add to the Living Archive and invite you to bring your photographs, newspaper cuttings or memorabilia of Bletchley for them to scan and return to you. You can also record your stories and memories so more generations can learn how Bletchley has grown and changed over the years. Please see Queensway DML flyer v1
