MKCC carried out the West Bletchley On-Street Parking Study at the request of West Bletchley Council in 2025. This confirmed numbers of external vehicles parking in the residential streets around the rail station for extended periods and reducing opportunities for residents to park near their homes. Residents can now decide how this problem should be addressed as advised in the West Bletchley Council (WBC) letter delivered to all affected households.

However, the Resident Permit Parking Scheme leaflet needs to be amended by MKCC as it incorrectly refers to a petition being required and the last paragraph on page 1 is incomplete.

The informal consultation runs from Monday 23 February until 5 April 2026. Drop-in sessions for you to view the map and ask questions will be held at West Bletchley Council Offices, 221 Whaddon Way on Tuesday, 17 March from 2 to 4pm and on Thursday, 19 March from 6pm to 8pm, and at the Frank Moran Centre, Melrose Avenue, on Saturday, 21 March from 10am to noon. MKCC requires at least 50% of households from each zone to respond, including any Option 4 responses, to proceed to the next stage. Failure to achieve the required response, MKCC will assume you do not want them to act.
