MKCC’s City of Culture 2029 Bid has been successfully longlisted. A task and finish group has been established to shape the bid. Engagement events are underway, including activity at Bletchley Park and with community groups. The final bid will be submitted in August. Shortlisted cities will be announced in the autumn, with the winner revealed in early 2027 – Milton Keynes’ 60th anniversary year.

I attended the Town Deal Networking Meeting at Da Vinci, Queensway, on June 23, at which the Bid was discussed.
