Works on Princes Way are now complete, marking an important milestone for the wider Town Deal programme. The scheme has delivered safer, more accessible pedestrian crossings, improved walking and cycling routes, and a clearer road layout to support better connectivity and smoother traffic flow. As shown in the after image, the upgraded junction design and carriageway provide better visibility and safer, more efficient movement for all users. In the past, Thames Valley Police statistics indicated a high incidence of accidents on Princess Way.
These improvements form a key part of the Bletchley & Fenny Stratford Town Deal, which is investing in infrastructure, public realm and connectivity to support long-term regeneration and growth in the area. The Princes Way works are helping to create the foundations for a more accessible, better connected town centre, linking key destinations and supporting future development around the Transport Hub.

Preparation is now underway for the next phase of improvements at Sherwood Drive as we continue to deliver the wider Transport Hub programme and invest in safer, more reliable journeys across the area.
