The Bletchley & Fenny Stratford Safe Route Initiative is a community-led proposal that seeks to create a safer, more welcoming walking route between Fenny Stratford Railway Station and Bletchley Railway Station. The proposal aims to improve safety, encourage walking, support local businesses and strengthen partnership working across our area.
The initiative is being led by Richard Graham, Chair of the Central Bletchley & Fenny Stratford Community Form operated by Thames Valley Police, and who is also Deputy Mayor of Bletchley & Fenny Stratford Town Council. Before any decisions are made, the Community Forum would like to hear from residents, businesses, commuters and visitors. For more details and to support the initiative, please see https://www.bletchleyfennystratford-tc.gov.uk/community-forum and Exploring a Safer Walking Route Between Fenny Stratford and Bletchley – Fill out form.
The next meeting of the above Forum is Monday, October 19, at the new Sycamore Hall, Drayton Road, Bletchley MK2 3RR – residents are welcome to attend.
The next meeting of the West Bletchley Community Forum is scheduled to take place at the Frank Moran Centre on Saturday, 21 November, when we expect the above initiative to be discussed at that meeting.
