Highways Planning Application to be formally considered by Milton Keynes Council – Application Reference: 15/00619/FUL
Physical improvements to the Bottledump roundabouts and a new access onto the A421 (priority left in only) to accommodate the development of land in Aylesbury Vale District reference 15/00314/AOP (for Outline planning application with all matters reserved except for access for a mixed-use sustainable urban extension on land to the south west of Milton Keynes to provide up to 1,855 mixed tenure dwellings; and employment area (B1); a neighbourhood centre including retail (A1/A2/A3/A4/A5), community (D1/D2) and residential (C3) uses; a primary and a secondary school; a grid road reserve; multi-functional green space; a sustainable drainage system; and associated access, drainage and public transport infrastructure – EIA development). At: Land At Buckingham Road, Tattenhoe Roundabout, Standing Way To Bottle Dump Roundabout, Milton Keynes.
This application will be considered at Milton Keynes Council’s Development Control Committee meeting at 7pm on Thursday 7th November 2019, at the Civic Offices, 1 Saxon Gate East, Central Milton Keynes, and is open to the public. Representatives from West Bletchley Council will be attending the meeting to present their objections to the proposals, and encourage local residents to attend the meeting and support them again in presenting the local community’s strong objections to the proposals. Alternatively, you can submit any written objections to MK Council by noon on Wednesday, 6 November 2019.
Development at this site in Aylesbury Vale was first proposed 10 years ago, and although the full outline planning application reference 15/00314/AOP from the South West Milton Keynes (SWMK) Consortium was approved by Aylesbury Vale District Council on 7 June 2017, the fight against this proposed development by local parish councils led by West Bletchley Council via the Salden Chase Sub-Committee continues.
